The Curing Window

Cast vinyl requires a strict thermal bonding period. For the first fourteen days post-application, the film is actively adhering to the clear coat. Avoid high-pressure wash bays and extreme temperature fluctuations during this critical phase.

Utilize a two-bucket system with pH-neutral surfactants. High-alkaline degreasers will strip the protective topcoat and degrade the film's UV resistance over time.

Prolonged static exposure to direct solar radiation accelerates polymer degradation. Store the vehicle in a climate-controlled environment when not in active use.

Never direct pressurized water at panel gaps or tucked seams. Maintain a minimum clearance of thirty-six inches to prevent hydraulic lifting of the material.

Ceramic Compatibility

Only apply coatings specifically formulated for porous polymers. Standard paint ceramics will cure unevenly and cause permanent surface hazing on cast vinyl.

Abrasive contact or chemical etching from hard water deposits causes localized dulling. Immediate neutralization of contaminants is required to maintain optical clarity.
